However, the Electoral System needs to be updated from time to time to suit the existing conditions. Some electoral laws are outdated and decades old, and cannot be adapted for existing conditions. There is a difficulty in adapting some laws which were enacted long ago, to the electoral system that was enacted later. Also it is important that the good electoral practices that are currently being used successfully in the world are incorporated into our law.
