Officiating in International Monitoring Panels

Second constitutional Assembly Elections.

In Nepal it is Scheduled to take place on 19^th of Nov. 2013. ANFFREL has organized to observe the polls through its regional network of organizations by sending observers from member countries.  PAFFREL is a member in the ANFFREL network. One long term observer & two short term observers and actively taking part in the observation process. The PAFFREL team consists of Mr. Rohana Hettiarachchi the Executive Director , Mr. Indika Jeewandara Administration manager & Miss. Leonpe Upekshi Fernando.

Elections in Thailand

Mr. Rohana Hettiarachcie, Executive Director of PAFFREL, participated as a short term observer of the election held to the Parliament of Thailand. These elections were held on July 13, 2011 and Mr. Hettiarachchie functioned as an observer from July 4, 2011 to July 15, 2011. Two of the members of the staff also participated in monitoring these elections as long-term observers from June 7, to July 12, 2011. They took part in this exercise as members of an international team if independent monitors of the Asian Network for Free Elections Foundation - ANFREL
